  • Process of Hearing and Trusting Your Soul

I learned to hear my soul by ignoring it. Importantly, I realized later that there was a process involved in hearing and trusting my soul. It looked like this: 1) A situation would occur where I would think about my options (ways of dealing with the problem), pick one and act on that decision. Later, cause I wasn't always right, I realized that I had known the answer and was angry that I hadn't chosen correctly. 2) Awareness was the next step. Having realized I had heard the right answer in previous situations, I set the intention of hearing the right answer and noticing it next time. 3) Next time rolls around, and I notice a small voice that feels different than the other thoughts in my head. Still, I haven't differentiated things yet, so I still try to pick what I think is best, and I find it was the other voice. I didn't listen all the time; however, I'm starting to really notice how it feels when my soul says something. 4) I began testing by listening to my soul and not listening, to confirm that I'm actually hearing what I'm hearing. When I listen to my soul, it works out. 5) Accepting and trusting my soul came next. Remember, we are in relationship with our own soul. Our soul needs to trust us, and we need to trust our soul. This is the process I had gone through to learn how to hear it, test that I was hearing it, and accept that I was hearing my own soul.

  • How to Build a Relationship with Your Soul

As souls, we've been through a lot these last several million years. We haven't had the reprieve we may have thought we've had. Our souls do get upset and irritated, but also happy and peaceful. Emotions is not an ego-only experience. Somewhere along the line, we forgot that when we are incarnate, we need to prioritize and focus on our relationship with our soul. Aside from Source, our most relationship is with our own soul. And many of us have pushed our souls aside. So how do we learn to trust our soul and our soul to trust us? (Yes, it goes both ways.) First, we have to willingly and with true, genuine care, WANT to get to know and take care of our soul. (If you're in burnout mode, it may not be the time to start this endeavor. I know I tried once and simply felt like I was being tasked with taking care of yet another person on top of what I was already responsible for. Be aware of how you truly feel. Self-awareness is wise.) There are many meditations that help reintroduce you to your soul, and plant medicines that also ensure your soul gets back into your body (if it's out). You need to see, without imposing your thoughts of what it should act like, how your soul feels toward you. Angry? Upset? Is your soul willing to talk to you? No? Yes? If so, allow the soul to do the talking. If not, sit patiently. Sometimes, we just need to give our own soul grace to be upset until it's ready to talk or connect. Just sit with it, and if after a while, your soul still doesn't want to connect. Tell your soul that it's okay to take some time and you'll connect again soon. Be sure to come back and connect again like you said you would. Just like any relationship, your words and actions need to match to build trust. How old is your soul? A child? Your current age? The age of your soul tells you where you may be emotionally stuck. Your soul, as you do inner work, will catch up and appear as your current age when you get more released. The soul appearing young and your inner-child are not the same. Similar, but not the same. Do NOT make promises to your soul that you do not intend to keep. Do NOT lie to your soul, even if you lie to other people. (Not encouraging lying, just saying.) Just like any relationship in existence, even with plants, there is a required amount of effort when you're building and maintaining a relationship with your soul. Listen to your soul. It's key in supporting your manifestations. It's only trying to help and guide you where you need to go. The soul will not only guide you toward happiness, but it will guide you to experiences that you need to learn from and let go for greater happiness. If you'd like to explore what your soul has to say or you need help connecting to your own soul, consider booking a session here.

  • Voice Dictates Alignments

The truth is beginning to steamroll into our conscious reality. Our interconnected understanding is returning. I was helping Drake, a client who came to the Records open and curious. My attention kept being pulled to Drake's throat. "Oh," I said, noticing the energy. "Your voice dictates alignment." All of ours do. What we say, what we withhold saying (hence buildup sometimes in the throat) -- it all contributes to our energetic frequency and thus, our internal and external alignments with our experiences and connections. Be mindful of what you say. There's always a way to say things without extra harm. We can't eliminate discomfort with certain truths, but if we've done all we can to avoid unnecessary harm with our words and approach, that's all we can ask of ourselves. Say what needs to be said. Let go, if you truly don't think something needs to be said. Integrate whatever trigger comes up for you. Sometimes, it's just our own stuff -- nothing the other person is actually doing wrong. Sing. Hum. Vibrate the vocal chords and you vibrate your entire body. You program your body with these vibrations just as all the Earth can feel the tremor of an earthquake.

  • Can fear interfere with intuitive information?

Yes. Fear pulls us out of alignment with the flow of wisdom. Fear operates using knowledge of the past. It can show us false information, fear-based options and outcomes. Wisdom flows when we are calm and in a loving non-attached place. We often hear intuition or wisdom when we are actively doing a hobby we enjoy, for example. Some folks hear it while driving or showering or walking in nature. When we are attached to this flow, wisdom is always flowing. Wisdom is always up-to-date and accurate with the current life experience you are facing. It is not always going to be information you've previously heard either. Wisdom can be new, interesting, different, or feel unusual in when we are being guided in directions we didn't expect. Fear allows intuition to slip to the sidelines to make room for perceived safety and self-preservation. When we feel fear, this is the time that we need our community and trusted intuitives we know. We were meant to practice both autonomy and community in life. Going to others for support in tense life experiences isn't giving our power away. This is us taking the initiative to know when we may not be getting accurate information and are trying to ensure we DO act with the most accurate information possible. This doesn't excuse us from looking at and working on ourselves. We do need to allow ourselves to continuously integrate and release the fears in our lives. This isn't a way around it. We are still responsible. This is one of the great issues that intuitive folks experience because we've been told we should be self-sufficient enough to know and get our own answers, but it's also completely viable that our intuition can get shoved aside when fear enters the picture. Fear makes our intuition more difficult to hear and fear can also become a perceived tool for safety. "If I keep worrying and feel scared, I'll be able to stop or prevent ____." So can fear interfere with intuition? Yes. Fear can make intuition hard to hear and it can give you false information entirely. The same goes with attachment. When we are attached to someone and their outcome, we also can get false information. Only loving non-attachment will get you the most accurate information. We can still love and care about people, but we have to trust that whatever is happening and will happen in their lives is meant to be. This is where we must anchor ourselves out of fear and into trust in Source/Universe. In knowing that people will be okay no matter what, we find loving non-attachment.

  • What are Living Contracts?

Living contracts actively affect one or more person, usually causing generational impact or societal grouping impact. (An example of societal grouping impact: For example, there are specific cities that have living contracts that include and incorporate all the residents of said area. This is an in-depth discussion for another time, and more than cities can be affected.) Oftentimes, a living generational contract will affect the entire lineage, but we are given the opportunity to remove you, your kids, grandkids, and pull it back, one generation at a time, off those who are supportive of it being removed. Not all ancestors are open to the removal of a living contract at the time it's offered. In this case, we remove whoever we can and re-file the contract as active but with people removed as if they were never a part of it in the first place. Those still on the contract will continue to experience its effects, while those removed will be free of it. Curious what contracts are influencing your life? Come check out a session! • The Hidden Step Before Intention

The hidden step before intention: Perception is critical when it comes to manifesting. How we perceive something (good, bad, neutral, possible, not possible, etc.) is the precursor to intention. We must first set our perception before we set our intention. If your perception is “this won’t work”, and your intention is “I want my business sales to increase by 30% this month,” then it won’t work. Not all parts of you are in agreement that this is the right step. A perception is an opinion that can be changed with evidence, discussion, influence, etc. For example, you see a commercial from Vet Care Extraordinaire to raise funds for homeless animals on TV. The announcer talks about animals being dumped by owners, animals escaping, and how there isn’t enough people or money to help them properly. Violin music plays while you’re shown images of skinny dogs with bitten ears, dirty fur, and sad eyes. This makes you feel upset that people abandon their animals, and makes you feel helpless to solve such a big problem. You open your wallet, call and give them some money. This example covers from perception to manifestation. It’s that easy. Let’s say another commercial comes on and it’s a lawyer commercial discussing a class-action lawsuit against Vet Care Extraordinaire for embezzlement, fraud and money laundering of funds. Now, you feel angry, want them to pay every possible penny, and write a scathing review. You even contact the law firm and share your donation receipt. Months later, you receive $12.50 in the mail as part of your claim, which also doesn’t feel satisfying. You then don’t trust donating to other groups as easily. What changed? Perception? Perception can be based off both knowledge and wisdom. (They are not the same thing. See Knowledge Comes from the World. Wisdom Comes from Somewhere Else.) Perception can get you ready to manifest and bring into being anything, so be careful and notice what you are creating in the world. We can be the change, but in order to do it properly, we need to understand what perception is driving us to that choice.

  • Knowledge and Wisdom are not hte same thing. Here's why.Knowledge Comes From the World. Wisdom Comes From Somewhere Else.

Knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing. Here's why. Knowledge comes from the world. Wisdom comes from somewhere else. As I have been shown, knowledge and wisdom are the two angels on your shoulders. Knowledge can only be given from what currently exists and comes from others. Books, podcasts, teachers, etc. Wisdom comes only from Source. It is real-time answers to life’s problems, how-to steps for your life, and more. Knowledge is limited; wisdom is infinite. Knowledge can be attained by listening to others or our ego, since the ego can only help us using past experiences (also known as, knowledge). Wisdom comes when we are connected to Source. And we have to listen for it. It’s a softer voice. It’s always what you need. (See Soul vs Ego: What's Really Happening? for an interesting comparison!)

  • Ego vs. Soul: What’s Actually Happening?

The Soul Knows. The Ego Remembers. Contrary to popular thought, the ego isn’t in and of itself bad. What isn’t helpful is when it’s out of balance and in the driver’s seat of your life. The ego is a tool for experiencing this world and taking in perceptions as information regarding this life experience. The ego is willing to help you, but it only has access to knowledge, which is all past-based only. Meaning, you learned it in your past from someone else or an experience you had in the past that you don’t want to repeat, so the ego keeps you feeling worried so you don’t repeat it. The soul has direct access to the wisdom of Source and shares it with you to help you in life. The soul knows your plan for this life and tries to steer you in the right direction, but it can get pretty difficult if ego is driving the car of your life. Both want to help you and both use two very different means to achieve that end. You could also consider the soul and the ego as the angel and devil on the shoulders. The classic epitome of the perceived good versus evil, since most people are fed the belief that our ego is worth destroying. But if we want to destroy a part of ourselves, we will be at war with ourselves because the ego is part of the human experience. We are not here to transcend or outgrow it, but to ensure it stays in its place and is the tool we need it to be when we need it. The soul is the most important relationship you will ever have, next to Source. (See How to Hear Your Soul: 3 Ways if you struggle to feel connected or feel you can’t hear it!)

  • What If You’re Not Judged at All?: Fear of Exposure in the Akashic Records

What if you're not judged at all? Some people feel a bit nervous before entering the Records. Not because they think something “bad” will happen — but because they fear being exposed. They fear: being seen too clearly having painful truths revealed confronting parts of themselves they’ve avoided discovering something shameful or wrong within them But this is one of the greatest misunderstandings about the Records. Everything makes sense there. Your life, your reactions, your fears, your wounds, your patterns — all of it exists within a much larger context of understanding. The Records and myself hold zero judgment. Literally. How can you judge what makes perfect sense? How can you judge when you are entering into a space of unconditional love, understanding, compassion, and clarity? Very often, what people fear will feel exposing actually becomes deeply relieving. Because instead of seeing themselves as broken, they finally begin to understand why they became the way they are, why they’re experiencing what they are, and most importantly, if needed or wanted, how to naturally shift in a different direction. And understanding creates space for compassion, lasting growth and the deepest joy. People who initially felt nervous about entering the Records later described the experience as deeply relieving, grounding, and clarifying. [Consider reading What if I Hear Something I Don’t Like in an Akashic Session? if you still feel some remnant fear. All sessions go at a pace that feels safe.]

  • Attachment to Outcome - What They're Really Looking At

Attachment to outcome. We're human. And in being human, we have an ego and a soul both trying to help us. (See Soul vs Ego for more details!) One of our human experiences includes attachment. Attachment can occur with anything. It can be a person, place, thing, outcome, process, trajectory, path, idea, belief, etc. The ego is a big influence for attachment. (The ego is not bad, that's not what I'm meaning here.) Ego utilizes attachment like an anchor for safety. The Soul utilizes ever-flowing wisdom as an anchor for safety. Attachment is a part of life and isn't, in and of itself, bad; however, it can lead to stagnation, disappointment and dead-ends when we can't allow ourselves to shift out of it. Sometimes, we think we're attached to one thing, but it's really another. We might think we're attached to the goal of motherhood, but we're actually attached to the process or avenue of how we get there. When we're attached to a specific means to an outcome, for example, we're actually gripping too hard. Imagine holding onto a rope that represents what you believe is the best possible way for something to unfold. If you believe that this is the one and only possibility to get what you want, you'll grip it hard. When we grip something hard, it makes it immoveable. And when life tries to move it anyway, friction is created. That friction becomes pain — like rope burn — not because the outcome is wrong, but because the grip is too tight to allow movement. The Records will see this process and encourage you to loosen the grip. This doesn't mean that the outcome will not occur, it may or may not, but when we loosen the grip on how something manifests, we allow ALL forms of manifestation to come toward us and bring us what we want. Most times, our manifestations come in forms we wouldn't always have guessed would be the path that worked. Our job isn't to always know the path, but to leave enough space so it can move and form around us. The Records do not confirm if things will or will not work. They do see if a current trajectory is looking a certain way, but it's still not a guarantee as this is a co-creative universe. We are always creating with Source and others at all times. The future can be influenced by our choices and what we choose to co-create. The Records will be clear about how to better influence different outcomes, if that's possible. In some cases, the soul wants to go another direction or take another path to the same destination you want to go. The goal is to loosen the grip so the other paths can reveal themselves. Struggling to allow letting go of the grip? Consider booking a session where we can focus specifically on helping you feel safe during this process, or consider joining the Mentorship program where you can also get the support of community (We've all been through it!).
