In March 2025, Melanie was one of six international readers and channelers invited by Japanese spiritual magazine anemone to offer insight into what 2025 might hold.

Melanie was specifically asked about the widely publicized prediction associated with Japanese manga artist Ryo Tatsuki, whose work had fueled fears of a great catastrophe in Japan in 2025. Melanie’s reading directly contradicted that prediction. She said the feared period of catastrophic upheaval had passed and cautioned that not every prophecy or precognitive dream represents an actual future event.
