How to Hear Your Soul: 3 Ways to Start

Updated: May 19

Tool # 1

The way I learned to hear my soul was to ignore it.

Yeah, sounds completely counterintuitive.

But that’s what I did. I think we all do that here and there, or always, depending on where we are on the path. And guess what?

That’s okay.

We’re ready when we’re ready and not a minute sooner.

Specifically speaking, how did I hear my soul if I ignored it? When coming to a small decision, I’d think about my choices and there were usually a couple options. I’d hear these more prevalent thoughts (harder to ignore), but then I’d hear one softer voice that was very brief.

I’d choose the louder voice and make the decision.

Bad decision.

Later after the decision, I suddenly could see the get the other option would have saved me this and that, I wouldn’t have such and such happen, etc.

I began to get really frustrated with myself. Time after time, and time and time again, I kept listening to the louder thoughts. Sometimes the soft voice was so soft it would just disappear from my mind almost instantly.

So, I began to put effort into differentiating what I was hearing. I began to bring focus to that softer voice, and one at a time, began making decisions from what it suggested.

It worked.

This built trust, and that trust grew each time I listened.

This voice of my soul began to grow louder and louder and easier to hear over time.

I began to notice patterns, such as, if I ignored my soul, then it would nag at me.

Time and time again when I’d ignore it that I would be shown how it was right, and how I was right with it all along when I’d listen.

So when it nags now, there’s no denying it and I follow it. It 100% always led me the right direction.

May not always be what you want, but it will be what you need. And you’ll feel better later once you see the clear picture, which always comes.

There are endless ways to hear your soul, but if you don't already have a pattern of hearing it, just know that it's a quiet voice at first. Once we identify it, we'll begin to recognize how it feels in the body when we hear it and learn to trust it.

Tool 2:

Get out a journal, ground and shield, and meditate for a moment. When you feel grounded, write out some questions using your dominant hand on the right side of the paper (or left, if you're left-hand dominant).

And with the non-dominant hand, answer the questions with whatever information comes through. Do not judge what is coming through.

Tool 3:

Sit outside, ground and shield, and meditate for a moment. Keep a journal with a pen or pencil nearby. When you feel grounded, sit with a blank piece of white or gold paper, or a solid white plate, and stare at the paper or plate.

This is giving your mind something to do. You want your busy mind to focus on this.

"What do you want me to do?" the mind will ask.

"Focus on this," you say.

"But it's just a blank paper or plate," the mind may whine.

"Focus on it."

The mind will comply.

Keeping the mind preoccupied with a job helps to let other parts of the self speak up. You may get sudden insights. Do NOT judge the insights. Just write them down.

The goal is to get OUT of the pattern of knee-jerk responses where we judge a thought or idea too fast. Most of the time, our soul or Source will not always have the most logical steps for us to take, but when we listen, we understand later how perfect it was.

Struggling to hear your soul? Consider a session where we can see how your soul is feeling, what it wants, if there's anything it wants you to know, and where it wants to go in life. (Note: It may not be what you think!)

Also consider some of the free meditations as they can help you secure your shields (easier to keep out telepathic noise when you're trying to hear yourself!) among other benefits.
